Total agreement on Neil Young. New stuff is great. Latest tour with Crazy Horse has been stellar.

Now I'm an old fart but I do still search out the interwaves for something that strikes me in the hurdly-gurdlies.
I discovered this band during the early summer at one of the many live-streamed festivals on youtube. Really cool Caribbeanesque/Devoistic/post-punk synth pop with well developed progressions, vocals and lyrics.
"We're the keepers, while we sleep in America our house is burning down"
and:
"Don't look ahead there's stormy weather
Another road block in our way
But if we go, we go together
Our hands are tied here if we stay."

And I don't normally go out for this kind of stuff but on a rare occasion something sticks to my aural confabulators. Give them a listen. It may or may not tweak your tootsies:

And this was the year that I rediscovered Al Kooper years after being bummed out about what BS&T turned into after he left. Finally got my hands on this CD (Soul of a Man). Highly recommended;

god, I loved that first album with Al Kooper. I put on the vinyl every few years or so.
